Letters to God is based on the true story of Tyler Doughtie, who was played in the film by Tanner Maguire. Parts of the story are real, and others were fictionalized, such as the character of a drunken mailman named Brady McDaniels (Jeffrey Johnson), who receives Tyler's "letters to God." The film was released to theaters on April 9, 2010 =) (wiki)

Plot:

It is about a 8 year-old suffering from brain tumor, Tyler Doherty, and with a love of writing and sending letters to God. An alcoholic, Brady becomes his local postman temporarily. He receives letters from Tyler and decided to keep them as instruction of a pastor. Brady reads some of them, and they inspires him to become a better person. Slowly Brady begins a relationship with Tyler, thinking a way to help him. and blah blah blah...hahah..watch and you will know =)

Bro: Yeah maybe I don wanna tell what is in my heart, uh, I'm afraid to ask God to help Tyler..I mean what if He doesnt?

(Sometimes we refuse to pray, not because we do not believe, but because we are afraid of..what if God doesnt answer our prayer? What if He doesnt listen?..God strengthen my heart and faith, help me to believe you always work in a miraculous way..You are full of wisdom, You always know which is best for us, because You love us, Amen)

(Well, God works in ways that we, sometimes cannot comprehend. All we need is keep the faith alive..right? I am not a strong believer still but I'm trying, trying my best to cast all my worries and fear to Him. He is my savior, what is the best in me, He knows.)

It's actually a film produced by one of my fav producer, Illumination Entertainment

which is also the creator of Despicable me!

so I am thrilled and cant wait to watch it! Haha

Plot: ( according to wiki)

The movie tells of E.B. (Russell Brand), a teenage rabbit who on the eve of taking over from his father (Hugh Laurie) as the Easter Bunny, leaves his home in Easter Island for Hollywood to pursue his dream of becoming a drummer, and is hit by Fred O'Hare (James Marsden) an out of work slacker who was driving home. Feigning injury, E.B. manipulates Fred to take him in as he recovers. As Fred struggles with the world's worst house guest, both will learn what it takes to finally grow up, as Fred is pressed to partner with E.B. to save Easter from an evil Easter Chick named Carlos (Hank Azaria) who wants Easter Chicks to be in charge of Easter.

Hmm.. the storyline is quite simple but I think it's worthwhile, because it sounds amusing!

I know it's kinda outdated to say this

but I REALLY LOVE MINIONS!!

Awww..they are so so cute!

No doubt Despicable me is the best animation of the year!

Each minion has almost the same appearance and voice

but they have different names, which make them special in their own way

I always laugh at them from the way they speak and act,

cause it's really amusing and full of hilarious!!

they speak alien languages and what's more, I LOVE how they laugh

Minion: ahskejdhikjafhkehfnjsuila, AHAHAHA!!

ke..ke..ke..ke..!!

I especially love the toy part, where they pronounced the word toy as papoy

hahah!!

and they have a super cravings for fruits like banana and papple (apple)!

so this explains why I love Minion Mania game for ipod touch, ipad and iphone

MODIFIED Salt baked herbal chicken

Yesterday was Harmeet's birthday!!

Happy birthday to you!!!

I made a very special dish for our potluck

Guess what?

A MODIFIED SALTED BAKED HERBAL CHICKEN =P

Actually it's originated from Chinese Hakka

Story starts in a long, long time ago,

These people were actually trying to move to the south of China

Unfortunately, during the journey, they were often attacked and drove away by other tribes

So they have to keep on moving and moving, from a place to the other places

Obviously it was hard to bring their cattles along while moving

so they slaughtered those cattles for their meat

and put it inside a salt bag, to preserve it

This has eventually turned out to be one of the greatest Hakka's delicious cuisine

However, it is now believed that Hakka used salt from the need they had to replace salt lost when they work in the field

lol..Whatever it is,

I wanna make a change today!! ( sorry I am not a Hakka)

Ingredients:

1) chicken 1.5kg

2) Onions x2
3) Mushrooms (optional)
4) Spice bake mix x2 packets (to replace salts)

5) Ginger garlic paste x3 packets

6) 1 teaspoon of rice wine
7) Chinese herb jujubae x10

8) Chinese herb goji berry x20

......

Method:

1) Rub the chicken together with salts and ginger garlic paste
2) Add onions, and chinese herbs, jujubae and goji berries together with a teaspoon of rice wine
3) Marinate it for 30minutes or less
4) Cover it with foil
5) Steam it either using an oven/rice cooker for another 30 minutes

6) READY TO SERVE!!

Time taken: 1 hour

It's so easy right?

Sorry I'm not following a traditional method

since I am actually a very lazy person =.=

but it tastes as delicious as the ori~!
